DUKE ANGRY MAN
DUKE ANGRY MAN is a British music producer, songwriter and mix engineer.
He learnt his craft through endless hours behind the desk and is mainly self-taught. Starting off co-producing his band Chartreuse’s first two EP’s with producer Luke Smith (Foals, Depeche Mode, Everything Everything, Crystal Fighters), he then moved on as sole producer on their debut album ‘Morning Ritual’. He also produced ‘Satellites’ the collaboration between Chartreuse & Orlando Weeks (The Maccabees).
Duke Angry Man is currently based in The Black Country, an area of the West Midlands at his studio “The Cabin.” Located away from the noise of the City with minimal distractions, when it comes to a private residential recording studio, The Cabin ticks all the boxes. With its completely unique sonic property the building itself becomes a crucial part of every recording that takes place there.
Duke Angry Man is a multi-instrumentalist & vocalist and provides both piano, synthesiser and guitar performances along with other instruments being played by him on nearly all of his productions. He also has a trusted network of incredible session players, string arrangers and Music Directors if needed.
He is also well known for his remix work and has put his name to remixes for Lucy Rose, Modest Mouse, Damien Jurado and Jenny O.
